The heads I've come up with so far are:
Joseph Wheelwright's "Sleeping Moon" sculpture at Ashmont Station
Antonio Lopez Garcia's "Day and Night" sculptures outside the Mofa
John Wilson's "Eternal Presence" at the National Center of Afro-American Artists
Ralph Helmick's Arthur Fiedler Memorial on the Charles River Esplanade
Can anyone think of any more giant heads in Boston?

Does this one count? It's more than a head. http://listart.mit.edu:8080/Obj3272$
I love that thing, but I'm going to say no, since it's an entire bust and it's in Cambridge. :o)
Sorry I had to do this -- it was too easy...

Loves me some big heads.
interesting...!
what about that weird picture at city hall plaza, on the city hall of one mayor or another? (when i see that i always think im suddenly in a communist country or so)
Well well, we at Urban Adventours may have to add this to their tour lineup next year...would you mind terribly if we took the idea?
Who knew Boston had so many big ol' noggins?! This reminds me that I would like to do a tour of all of Portland's parks. Only because I always find myself whining that there are no good parks here, which is of course incorrect.
Don't forget the baby heads at the MFA - they are actually kinda creepy .

Denise: I was expecting someone would do something along the politican lines...
CaT: Hmm, I had mostly been thinking about 3D heads, but could be convinced to include this.
Craiggles: As long as I get some royalties.
Ah-Clem: Um, I didn't!
